DeadArnuki: So today I bought HoMM2 and besides loving every bit of the nostalgia I noticed one of the main aspects of the game was missing. I had the music, I had the graphics, it runs smooth, but there is no sound effects. No horse gallop, no monster noises in combat, and Even though I cannot hear the sounds when you encounter an event or pick up an artifact. I still Have to wait for the sound time to run. Which, due to there being no sound feels a lot like lag.

My OP is Win7, and after hours of checking up on everything. My drivers are updated and everything is running at its peak performance. I've looked on the forums a bit and found mostly music issues and things. I'm running the program from the desktop shortcut and I've tried to get into the /gog.com/heroes of might and Magic to see if I could edit things around (As shown in one) but to no avail. In fact... even running as admin I could find no such file as listed.

Any help or advice to solve this?
