a zipped version of dos games would be useful for anyone, like me, use DOSBOX on other operating systems

I like to keep all my DOS games in D Fend Reloaded, so will help me immensely. It will also help for people who play on android devices, or people who only want to use one install of DOSBox. They should also do this for ScummVM games.

That would be great for playing old games on Android, as well as for advanced users on Windows, Mac and Linux.

Of course the files are already there... AFTER you've ran the Windows installer to unpack them. This makes no sense, having an option to download the files without the installer would make most of the real old games very simple to run on other OSes. DosBox for example runs just fine under Mac and Linux.

The original DOS executables are already inside the GOG version's DOSBox folder; it's how DOSBox runs the game to begin with.

I play them on Linux, I am so glad the GOG-Installer works with wine...
