Steam version is like 4x cheaper in my region so I'm curious if there's any reason to buy it here.
When steam goes down eventually and does not come back up you won't be able to exercise the license you were given to be able to play the game as you won't be able to get in touch with their DRM servers.

GOG on the other hand gives you fully downloadable files that don't need to connect with servers to install the game.

In other words with

STEAM you are buying a license to play the game.
GOG you are buying a product/game that is yours.

This one is DRM free on Steam as well, launched directly from the exe without the Steam Client.
