So I purchased DK1 through GOG recently (duh) and I just can't seem to find a fix for why the game only takes up 50% of the screen height. It's only during maps; in the main menu there is no problem.

I've used DosBox to play DK before, so I know that it ain't supposed to be like that.

Nevermind; I fixed it.

For future reference:
open dosboxDK.conf (in your DK directory) with Notepad.

Find the line
'Fullresolution=original' and change it to 'fullresolution=[your resolution]'

Also find the line 'output=[something]' and change it to 'output=openGLnb'

Doesnt this conflict with the idea of joining GOG which is to get older games to work on newer systems? IF we have to do the configurations ourselves, why join in the first place?

It was more like an issue with dropbox.
Also, if I wanted to install DK without GOG, the I would have to install dropbox; use IT to install DK and write pathways into dropbox every time I would like to play.

I could have done that, but GOG is just SO much faster. And when using DosBox it is hard to guarantee 100% success rate.
But I suppose that you, in a way, are right.

I'm getting the same problem. A Black bar is running across the bottom causing the picture to be slightly squashed. I've tried changing the conf file. I've changed the "Fullresolution=original" and changed the output to openGLnb.

I've also tried changing the screen res. just while I would play the game but no luck.
Could anyone help?
