Hello,

I'm trying to gain the bonus points in this Pet Dungeon map,

Unfortunatly, I doesn't seem to be able to attract more than one Angel.

-I have 2 temples of at least 5X5 size in my dungeon.
-I have plenty of room to have another creature as I sacrificed them all in said temples.

I have waited and waited, but no luck :(

I've search for similar issues, but it seems like the usual bug is in the Campaign mode after LVL 17, is it the same bug here?

Thanks a lot!

I found that the dark angel spawn rate is just really low. The MPD levels do not seem to have the same bug as the campaign levels for creature spawns.

I've found an effective, if brutal, approach to getting my hands on the low-probability creature spawns. You must be willing to execute the majority of your dungeon inhabitants; only the undead and a handful of living can be spared. By intentionally killing almost all your dungeon inhabitants, your portals go on over-drive and start producing new creatures like mad. Execute these newcomers as well as soon as they enter your dungeon. You can roll through dozens of monsters in the course of minutes, eventually getting the spawns you want. Vampires and skeletons do not count against your portals, so build a big graveyard to take advantage of all the corpses you're producing to get a nice army of the undead while you're doing this.

EDIT - the easiest way to execute your own creatures is to throw them in the prison or torture chamber then slap them to death. They will die immediately under these circumstances, giving no opportunity for your imps to drag them back home to recover.

Thanks!

I will try this out :)
Can't you drop them back into the portals as well? Even quicker than killing them, if you don't want the corpses for anything.

You clearly haven't gotten into the requisite "evil overlord" mindset yet ;-)

In all seriousness, it's about the same amount of time to throw them back into the portal as it is to kill them. If you've got no use for the corpses it's not a big deal, but why would you turn down perfectly good vampires in the ludicrously high-resource scenario that is Masterpiece?

That's true - I'd forgotten that this was about the pet dungeon in particular. I was thinking that most of the time you don't get a graveyard, but of course in the pet dungeons it's a whole different story!
Make a vampire army! :P
