Hey folks,

I'm finally picking up DK 1 after enjoying the hell out it's sequel since 1999. The short version of my problem is that my eyes aren't great, and I can't really make out a lot of what I'm looking at here. I have a screen full of very large pixels and a mouse that moves my screen if I move it more than an inch. Is there perhaps a dosbox optimization guide, or other suggestions you might have to make this a bit easier to see?

Thanks!

Have you tried pressing Alt-R in game?

Not sure if it'll help, but it makes it a little less pixelated that the default; it's in the manual, but it's easy to miss, I played for ages in low-detail without knowing.

Might want to zoom out a little (Cntrl + Down arrow key) to not have to move the screen around so much.

Try Alt+R to increase your resolution to 640x480, I believe.

Also, http://keeper.lubie.org/html/dk_keeperfx.php - KeeperFX may be applicable here, if you're willing to read a bit on how to apply it.
