when i try to play DK 2, it plays the intro movie and takes me to the start menu, but when i go to start a new game, as soon as i try to actually start the first mission, the game crashes and i get the message "DKII.exe has encountered an error and needs to close"


i have windows XP if that helps :P

also, how do i change the screen resolution?

ok it works in safe mode now for some reason when it didnt before :/


id still like to know how to change the resolution though if anyone can help me...

Perhaps not the most helpful post, but I thought its best to say when playing save every so often.

I have only had one crash but it seems to wipe the campaign continue back to the start.

A quick google gave me this info:

"You can run the game in custom resolutions by running regedit from the start menu, then navigate to
"HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Bullfrog Productions Ltd\Dungeon Keeper II\Configuration\Video""
