Hello,
i had black screen (no black screen blink, but black screen freeze and process not responding, there are couple of different black screen problems) problem as lots of other people, for them lots of them other fixes worked.. for me not, but from crash dump analysis, was discovered that is related to aureal3D audio.. and that game is trying to load a3dapi.dll in from C:\Windows\SysWoW64\
After deleting of this files game started to work, is file is some old dll installed by some other old game, Gog team, probably such somehow disable loading that file at all..
