Whenever I try to open it, I get a black screen flash up and then nothing. No error messages or anything. Have checked that direct play is there and it is.

I have tried running it in all the different compatibility modes that my computer has and still nothing.

All the trouble shooter brings up is 'incompatible application' which is sucky.

I'm running windows 10 home 64bit and have a Geforce GTX 1080 ti graphics card so it should be fine.

Any one got any fixes for this??

THANKS!!!

Run DKII-DX.exe, not DKII.exe, and make sure you run it as administrator

Have tried that. I've been through countless trouble shooters and nothing works. :(

Sounds like you need to install DirectX 9.0c manually. Here's a guide: https://cncnz.com/features/technical-support-help-guides/installing-directx-90c/
Have installed the DirectX 9.0c thingy. It made no difference.

Contact GOG support, then. GOG are the ones behind the modern OS compatibility fix with EA's blessing, so they should know what can go wrong.
Shall do.

Thanks!!
