I used ISOBuster to read this file & extracted it. The problem is when I removed GAME.GOG, the game will not work. And I dunno what to do to edit the levels.txt. Help me please.

Game.GOG is the actual ISO for Dungeon Keeper so if you've removed it permanently you'll have to reinstall to get it back. If you're looking to mount Game.GOG for KeeperFX, as I had to, you'll have to rename the file to "something.ISO" and then mount the renamed image.

As for editing the levels.txt file I can't help you there, sorry.

edit: well, I did find levels.txt in the keeper folder of the ISO (game.GOG renamed) don't know if you couldn't find it or just didn't know what to do to edit it. You'd use notepad to edit the file BTW

Hi there. I appreciate ur help but I guess I didn't convey what I wanted well through my message. U know we can edit the creatures.txt & it works right? But when I tried to move the levels.txt into the data folder. It won't work.
ok more detailed instructions.

1.create a copy of game.gog.
2. open it.
3. copy the folders "levels" and "ldata" to your dungeon keeper directory
3a. edit levels\levels.txt to enable the other 15 hidden multiplayer levels (see attachment)

4. open the file "keeper.cfg" with a text editor (notepad)
5. change the line : 1)
[
"INSTALL_PATH=d:\keeper\" to "INSTALL_PATH=c:\(your dungeon keeper directory)\
ie for install in
c:\program files\gog.com\dungeon keeper
you should have "INSTALL_PATH=c:\dungeon keeper\
]

6. open dosboxdk.conf with a text editor
7. replace the line
mount C
with
mount c "c:\(your dungeon keeper directory -1)\

[ie for c
:\program files\gog.com\dungeon keeper
use
mount c "c:\program files\gog.com\
]

8. replace the line keeper with keeper -1player to enable skirmish mode
9. ensure that game.gog is still in the game directory.

10 play game and go to the multiplayer menu

Hi there. Thanks for ur help once again. (: I have a minor problem.

When I open up dosboxDK.conf, I can't find the line mount C or rather it's not in it. However when I opened up dosboxDK_client, dosboxDK_server, dosboxDK_single, I can find the line mount C. Do I replaced to all the 3 I just mentioned?

Are you sure, that works here.

Oh, re-downloaded the latest gog version:
this works on it.
From a fresh install.

1. open game.gog
2. copy levels + ldata to dungeon keeper directory (making sure you keeper a copy of game.gog in the folder)
3. edit levels.txt, as desired
4. open keeper.cfg
5. set INSTALL_PATH=c:\
6 add -1player command to all .conf files.
7. play game
