I don't know what it is but they don't seem to obey me much as it is and when you run out of gold it's like billion times worse. And what's weird, I found a massive pile of gold to dog, marked it and none of the Imps wanted to dig it. Even if I tossed them there, they just ran away. And you know what happens when minions run for too long without gold. It only gets worse.

This is in mission where you're in the middle, surrounded by lava and you have to build bridge to get over, 5th or 6th mission I think.

Not to mention in this same mission framerate dropped to nearly unplayable levels for no real reason. Or does just the exploring of the map affects performance so much? On a 4,2GHz quad with increased Dosbox CPU cycles? Hm...

The KeeperFX community patch fixes some bugs, so it might be helpful here. You find all information and installation instructions here:

Couldn't get it to work for some reason. I have to recheck the install guide...
I've talked with MemoriesIn8bit and he said this bug existed but shouldn't be here anymore in latest version of DK1. The thing is, I've downloaded it like 2 weeks ago. And it is happening.

I have my gold marked to dig, if I drop Imps in front of it they just run away to some seemingly random point, run back to the gold and when they arrive to the gold that was suppose to be digged, they just turn around and run away again, making the level impossible to complete because I run out of gold and everything goes to shit after that.

I believe I used this : http://www.gog.com/forum/dungeon_keeper_series/keeperfx_hires_dk1_latest_builds_and_install_instructions/page1
and it worked perfectly. I just had to mess around with the setting a bit to get a comfortable resolution for my 15'' laptop screen
