This campaign seems to have poorly designed levels. In the original DK1 campaign you could easily find all the hidden areas because they were pretty obvious on the map....there were nooks and crannies on the map that would give you hints.

In this campaign, you dont even know where the enemy base is because the map level design is just one big space. Secret rooms are hidden in the middle of the map instead of in one corner with strangely shaped rooms that would give you a hint to their location. I just stumbled onto a library that was just....there in the middle of the map. Theres no way you would find it unelss you were tunneling pretty much everywhere and the door to the enemy base was just placed in the middle with a large winding river nearby.

Now im stuck in the level where you start with a level 3 thief and a level 8 horned repear nearby. As far as i can tell you are supposed to bait the horned reaper into the boulder trap, but i dont see how you are supposed to do this when a neutral guardpost is preventing the reaper from going anywhere near the boulder trap....
You can make the reaper come to the trap... or you can make the trap come to the reaper! :)
Well i just restarted and slapped the boulder at the start. Turns out the starting area is designed so that the boulder will roll to the reaper and kill it....

Its really annoying having to randomly dig to all over the map to find the enemy base though on most maps.

Im also having issues with the creatures in this campaign....the original campaign removes weak creatures like flies/beetles from the latter levels so that you can get the stronger ones, this doesnt hold true for the good campaign. Most of my creatures are weak tunnelers, dwarves, fairies and thieves. I have yet to attract a single giant despite having massive ltraining/hatchery sizes....and despite massive guard post/workshop spam, its almost impossible to attract archers.

I can very easily get tons of knights/barbarbarians/wizards though. Not sure if theres something about the campaign that makes it very difficult to attract giants and archers....
Okay playing the impure blood level no wand for some reason imps are counting towards the creature limit? why?
Maybe it's the 255 creatures per map limit?
Yea i suppose thats it. I cant believe the creator didnt playtest the level and notice it though.

Its also srprisingly hard to get neutral creatures to walk into your traps since they just stay where they are.
