Hello Everyone,

Just wondering if there is some kind of E-Mail alert I can sign up for so that I know when GOG releases a patch or a new version of DK2 that fixes the stability issues?

Thanks in advance :)

No email alerts that I know of. In the past they usually post a sticky in the forum letting everyone know of the new version.
Checking the game page and it seems Win7 is back on the compatibility list....... so I'm assuming they have released some kind of patch?

Doubt that, probably some people turned out to be able to run the game in Win7 what suggested the GoG staff that the game is indeed Win7 compatible :]
Crashing to desktop 5 minutes after starting each mission isn't really something I consider "Win7 Compatible".

No shit!? At least you see the game :). In My case it just crashes after the start or mission loading screen. One time It ran but the screen literally turned itself off by which I mean there was no signal from the gfx card XD.
Well all the people that bought it when it had win7 compatibility getting pissed off after they retconned it probably made them change it back and be stuck with fixing it! And pretty darn soon dammit, it's quite ridiculous with how buggy this thing is...
That's so weird. I've played all the way through the first 7 dungeons and haven't had a single crash. Deus Ex HR crashed more than this game. I did get the occasional screen flicker but only once every 10-20 minutes or so. I don't understand how it could work fine for my Windows 7 and not for everyone else.
Wait for the map where you have to attack the keeper accross the water with the good bases on the sides :) It'll crash then when you finish the map, trust me! (always does until I added the -32biteverything switch )
The only other issue I had is that I had to play in compatibility mode (ie no 3D acceleration or higher res) due to an ATI card.
