Hi, I'm using windows 7 Home Premium. A couple of minutes (max, sometimes seconds) into a level my mouse pointer will freeze even though the game is working fine. I'm using my touchpad but hoping that isnt going to make too much of a difference! any solutions?

Thanks in advance

The touchpad could be the problem. If you've got an external mouse at hand, I'd try that while disabling the touch pad, to see if it works. Usually there's an option in the touchpad's settings panel to turn it automatically off when an external mouse device is plugged in.

I've been playing in the box and it works ok, is it just the mouse even with that?
So we're talking about Dungeon Keeper 1 running in DOSBox, are we? When exactly does it work and when does the mouse freeze? I assume you play fullscreen or do you use windowed mode?

In DOSBox CTRL-F10 locks and unlocks the mouse. Check what happens when you do that.
