Is there a way to play in windowed mode on Win7 64? I've seen some people say Alt-Enter, but that does nothing. I really hate playing in full screen, especially because of my dual monitors.

I take it you're talking about DK2?

Never tried it on Win7, but you can enable a windowed mode by messing around with DK2's registry entry (have to set "Screen Windowed" to 1). The way it handles the mouse is a bit annoying though. Even if your cursor leaves DK2's window area, DK2's cursor will still be active and registering mouse movements and clicks. While I often prefer to use windowed mode for games like this, I leave DK2 in fullscreen mode.
To run Dungeon Keeper in windowed mode:
1 - START Menu - All Programs - GoG.com - Dungeon Keeper
2 - Click on Graphic Mode Setup
3 - In the Basic Settings tab uncheck "Full Screen"
4 - In the Advanced Settings tab, check "Keep Aspect Ratio"
5 - Click "Save Settings"

Now every time you run the game it will default to windowed mode in the correct aspect ratio.

Can you be more precise? I can't seem to locate that exact option (Graphic Mode Setup). The only thing I see in START Menu - All Programs - GoG.com - Dungeon Keeper is: Safe Mode, Game executable, uninstall and a shortcut to documents (manuals).
another way to do it, is to go to the dungeon keeper game folder, then open up the dosboxDK config file in notepad, and where it says fullscreen=true, change that to false. It also allows you to set the windowed resolution a few lines down.
I hate to revive posts but i really couldnt find anything anything else about this besides the millions of google results about the Regedit entry which doesnt work.

Is there any other way?

There is no dosbox config file also.

Am i the only one that dont want to play this 800x600 game fullscreen? :)

D3Dwindower is a brilliant program for games which don't have the window option available, seems to be working on your system as well...

*EDIT* And no, you're not the only one who prefers multitasking :P

Yes, lubie.org is no longer the correct website for quite some time now, it moved to lubiki.pl. I guess somebody took over the old website.

This is the new correct link: http://keeper.lubiki.pl/html/dk1_tools_windower.php

If you play keeperfx you don't need tools by the way, it can play in windows mode natively in any resolution you want.
