I have the mac version of Dungeon Keeper Gold but I can't zoom out.

I can rotate the camera, not by pressing right-ctrl+left or right cursor, as my keyboard doesn't have that key, but by pressing left-ctrl+shift+cursor left or right. But the normal pc key combination to zoom in or out is right-ctrl+up or down cursor keys. Sadly, using ctrl+shift+up or down cursor has no effect.

There is reference to a key config in the pdf manual but when I scrolled to the section it read...

"Note: Section 33.0 Appendix B: Keys and Key Configuration can be found in the Ref Card."

But there is no Ref Card to download from GoG.

Does this mean I am unable to zoom out in the mac version?

Yours, Hatty.
According to the notes in the DOSBox manual Special Keys section, you can try to use CMD+CTRL+(key) if CTRL+(key) does not work:

In MAC OS you can try using cmd(applekey) together with Ctrl if the key doesn't work eg. cmd-ctrl-F1, but some keys may still need remapping (in Linux too).
...but since it also says that you might need to remap the CTRL key to something else to be able to use it, you might have to do that.

I don't know if DK for Mac is currently running in Boxer or pure DOSBox for Mac, but I've read that Boxer does not implement the DOSBox key remapper; is that correct? I searched for mac boxer remapping and found diddly.

Let us know how it goes.

An obvious solution would be to go to the option menu inside dungeon keeper, and reconfigure the keys.
