Has anyone considered or heard talk of a space or Sci-Fi theme mod or conversion for Eador Genesis?

It seems the mechanics and graphics style would be particularly interesting with a space theme...

Yeah, or like Alpha Centauri: Sci-Fi theme on a planet (shards could be different planets), instead of out in space (in which shards could be different galaxies or sectors).
