Hello,

as per publisher's request we had to split Edna & Harvey: The Breakout + Harvey's New Eyes into two separate products:

Edna & Harvey: The Breakout ($14.99)
and Edna & Harvey: Harvey's New Eyes ($19.99)

If you have purchased them as a pack before, you will see two separate game boxes on your shelf by the end of the day, today. They might be some temporary problems with accessing the content (it shouldn't be more than 3 hours, though).

We apologize for any inconvenience this might have caused you!

First off, I think you got the prices mixed up - they're listed the other way around on the game-cards.

Is there even a point in asking why they're two separate products all of a sudden?

And as I just posted in "The what did just update" thread, the really interesting part about this is not the split in our game shelves, but the fact that it now costs $14.99 more to purchase them both. IMHO, it's quite backwards for Daedalic to start charging separately for the first game, after all this time. And it puts them in a negative light. It's certainly one more thing to make me like them less.

Not cool Daedalic, not cool at all!!

Is this a debundled unbargain? Somehow I think it will be less catchy than other sales approaches.

nope (sadly) the prices are right, they matches the prices on Steam (except on Steam 1$=1Euro >.>)

the old price was 19.99$ (for both games) , the price was right, now it's a tad overpriced.

Daedelic need cash ? or whatever ....

Like Sinistar, not sure Deadelic , will get more cash in this offer.

Stupid move, Daedelic!
Instaremove from my wishlist...
Wow.

The games were released a long time ago here and they already have been bundled in the past. What's the point for Daedelic to raise the price ? I certainly wouldn't have bought them at that price.

Thanks for pointing out my mistake, I've corrected the OP now.

I cannot really comment on the publisher's decision or the impact I suspect it will have on the game's sales.
While I like Daedalic's games I have given up long time ago my attempts to understand their pricing policy.
At least there is now a mac version of Harvey's New Eyes. Consolation prize?

Still no idea what Daedelic is thinking here.
Daedalic's decisions get weirder and weirder every time (no original language for German buyers of some games, splitting up an established bundle and double the price that way).

They might really need cash, but I don't think they will be sucessful that way.
I must admit that when it comes to unbundling stuff on the shelf I wish they would do that to every bundle so I can choose which specific games to download and install. Like they did with Alone in the Dark. So that part of the deal I not only understand. I support it and hope it continues. As for the price change that does seem a bit odd.
If we want to find something good, positive side effect of splitting the bundle is that I have no longer empty space on my GOG shelf. That formed when Broken Sword 5 episodes 1 and 2 were combined into one game.
Huh. What a weird move. Thankfully, I picked them up (although have yet to play them) for a good price during the last winter sale.

Highlighting that specific part of my post is comment enough, really ;D
