Wait, so do I have to reinstall the entire game? Is the download the whole game again or is it a patch form? I won't lose my progress/stats/unlocks will I?

That is a HUGE update!

PS. I don't see mentioning that upgrading of cameras and door costs more now :)

Godfather101: thats something i also would like to know.
I just did it. It appears that you have to redownload the whole game, but you won't lose your unlocks/stats when you install it (over the top of your previous install). I'd imagine the same is true for progress in the current game, but as I didn't have one ongoing when I updated, I can't say for sure.

Make sure you activate the advanced mode from the hangar, by the way.

The new install uses the same resource folder in your home directory, so you don't need to do anything
Just when you uninstall the old, ftl don't wipe them

I just uninstalled and reinstalled. I did it to the same folder to be sure but it looks like you don't have to.

I work smart not hard so that's a copy paste on my part from the changelog :)

But I do thank you for the sympathy for my wrists :D

So, I would have to dl the new installer and run it, without uninstalling the previous version. Is that correct?

Yeah, you can do that :) I just tested this with my own install and so far everything appears to be OK :)
