ERMEHGERD THIS IS SO CONFUSING

I can't figure out what i'm supposed to do.

I got to http://www.steamgifts.com/sync and it bitches "Please switch to a public Steam profile for a second to update your account.", but it is public, so the message is wrong.

Meanwhile, I'm supposed to post.. here.. to get invited to .. a steam group? so i can give away.. gog games.. on gog.com?

Why can't gog.com just implement this stuff, it would be soooo much easier.

On steam I'm "Crinkles" while the actual account is 'jsrodman'.

Okay various caches flushed and various blah blah blah, sync accomplished.
Can I please give away my money now? :-(

You'd think somewhere in the various crosslinking megaconfusing thread potss about the GOG Gift Club there would be a statement that this is for *Steam* games.

I thought we were just abusing the steamgifts infrastructure to track giving away GOG games somehow.
Well I still might give stuff away there, but I'm much more interested in giving GOG money than Steam.
