Steam currently has a trading card system in beta. By playing games you can collect cards. If you complete a set you can earn badges.

The list of games using the trade cards keeps expending.

Current list:

Steam really has some innovative ideas for gamers. The new Market place is really cool. To be able to sell ingame items for Steam Wallet.

Since even this community will attract some vultures no doubt, remember that FOIL cards, the ones with a silver lining, are worth a crapton more than normal cards.

At present, mostly I'm looking for any cards I don't have, but the Borderlands 2 ones are preferable.

The games I have that are in the Trading Cards and I'm interested in are:
CS:GO
L4D2

As of right now, only my TF2 Medic is for trade. For the CS:GO cards I think I'd have to be trading for the Borderlands 2 cards that I'm missing.
