One of the defining features of the Might and Magic series is the huge variety of monsters in each game. Which is your favourite and least favourite from the series so far (up to MM6 - we'll address the monsters in MM7 and 8 when GOG bring them to us)

The ones I liked best would be the XEEN Guardians from MM6 - especially the one that ended up in Bootleg Bay. Though I have a soft spot for the Inept Wizards in MM2.

I hated the Jugglers in MM2. There was no way that a low-level party wandering around Sandsobar, minding their own businesses, deserved those indignities.
I really hated the power liches in the Dungeon of Death, with their ranged eradication attack. The beholders in MM6 are also pretty annoying.

For some reason, I have a lot of fun fighting the gremlins in Castleview.
The best monster for me was the Megadragon from Worlds of Xeen. The ones I don't like add unnatural age to party members.
Favorite monster? Paul Peed from MM2....just a great name. And I think his loot was a Black Box, which always granted something special (he was one of the respawning monsters).
My favorite monster is Longfang Witherdale the Dragon from MM6. I always hated the MM6 monsters that caused stupid effects. The thieves always stole crap, etc.
The Guardians in MM6 are of VARN, not XEEN. But I agree, they're pretty cool.

I think I'm just arachnophobic, but I absolutely hate the spiders in that same game. It doesn't help that the Abandoned Temple's architecture is so creepy too... I usually skip it until it's really easy.
