Hi all
Got a sound issue with MM6. There is plenty sound effects, but no music. Im running windows 7 starter version. The game runs fine otherwise, just missing the "good ol' MM6 tunes".
If anyone knows anything about this problem, please reply.

The installer puts the music in the wrong directory. You need to browse to the directory it was installed to and move the MP3s to the Sound folder.

It actually didn't solve my problem because my installer put it in the right folder to begin with.
I have got it working now anyway, using the 1.9 patch "mp3 music" thingy so im happy:)

I have this problem too - though I see all the .mp3 files in the sounds directory. I did get the latest patch. Help?

You can get unofficial MM6 patch here.
To get music, after installing patch copy all .mp3 from 'sounds' to 'music' folder (you need to create it) and then in MM6.ini add line: PlayMP3=1
However, this patch has a lot of other useful features, so read the whole readme.

Hey, I just installed the patch 1.10 for MM6. However, I couldn't get my sound too work unless I run the game as administrator. But I have played the game for a while and I can't bring my save files over to admin game mode. How do I make my sound to work in non-admin mode or whatsoever. I don't want to restart the game from scratch =_=

Is there any way to bring my save game over? Please help!

Yot can try to look for them in the virtualstore folder and copy them to the game folder.

Where is the virtual store folder? I can't find it in the MM6 folder.

Just use Windows search to find save files.
