Hi!

I've seen that you can adjust the game's artificial intelligence in the options menu.
It says "Officer AI" and "Suspect AI" there (see attached image).

What puzzles me, though, is that the default value is "10 ms", like in milliseconds (?). So am I right so assume that 1 ms would be the best AI setting (as in quickest AI response)?
It's weird, because in the manual it says to actually INCREASE the settings for better AI.

Or does "ms" stand for something like "moral strength"?

Kind regards
Josh

"Best?" It's a limit on how long the AI is allowed to "think" about what to do. Increasing it allows the AI to "think" longer which in turn may lead to it making a better decision.

Thank you. But I don't think it's that self-explanatory (if that's your point). Could as well mean how fast my squad mates react to commands...

Who said anything about self-explanatory? There is no such thing as "best". It wasn't clear if you were looking to wait the least amount of time (lower) or if you wanted the most "intelligent" AI response (higher).
I was wondering why the AI was so quick to kill the armed suspects in my game - I always come out of a level with most of the suspects dead since they ALMOST ALWAYS shoot them dead on the spot with the default 10ms.
