Now that the online beta has been removed does anyone have an idea on how to fix the blank space?
I have already tried Ctrl+F5

(Not that a spacer block would be a bad thing, but I'd rather have a full row of them to even things out. If GoG does implement this as a feature I sure hope they allow you to set the blank spaces as hidden.)

You can just wait, I'm sure GOG staff will sort this out. You can also send a support ticket to let them know, but try refreshing your account first, by clicking the following link while you're logged in:

Thanks for the advice. I had tried the account refresh before (though I could not remember the exact wording, I used GoG's secure.gog.com rather than www.gog.com as that seems the standard for their account links). I'm not worried about it, I found I can move it around actually by dragging games by it. Now to decide where to put it...
EDIT: Nope, after a refresh all the games moved to one side will move back. The space is disrupting my organizational tendencies. Not good.

:-) It's the same on my shelf. Free choice on where to put nothing. We'll have to wait until GOG fixes this. The refresh doesn't solve this for me either. Nothing we can do about this atm.
Maybe it's actually a secret code. Someone at GoG is trying to send us a message. Mine's between Age of Wonders: Shadow Magic and Eador: Genesis. Maybe they want me to put more distance between the series? What about you?

(Or possibly it's just on the edge where it loads more games. But what fun is that?)

It's between Atlantis II and Atlantis III, but I could swear it's wandering - or is it just me playing too much Phantasmagoria? ;-)

Are some characters on the game boxes being mysteriously tortured to death too?

And if it's between Atlantis II and III that implies it's the demon from Atlantis II.V (2.5 in layman's terms). I would run if I was you.

All this talk of game characters on shelves is giving me an image of Toy Story crossed with Phantasmagoria using old game characters. Might just be me on this one though.

GoG bear is definitely involved somehow too.
Thought I'd check the forum to see if I was the only one having this problem. Looks like it's not just me who has a blank space on their shelf. Hopefully the GOG team will get it sorted out soon.
Same here, tried the account refresh thing but it didn't work. I guess we will just have to wait for a fix.
Here's the official word on it:

"Hello, we have made a really huge investigation into the issue. First of all, I can reassure you that no game is missing from your library. We are still not sure what causes the problem, but we also know some of the conditions required for the problem to appear.
First of all, a user must have a large collection of games, at least over 70. Some of these should probably should be games with DLCs (the problem never happened on an account without DLCs, however adding these to an account will not trigger the bug, that's why we're treating it only as one potential condition).

The missing spot will always appear as the last entry in a row, usually (but not always) right down the middle of a library. In case of collections with at least 300 games, more than one empty spot may appear. The empty spot will always be in the same place, no matter what kind of sorting method is selected.
However, as I said previously, we are definitely sure that no game is missing and apparently it does nothing except being there. Because of that, the problem was unfortunately assigned a low priority, and will likely only be fixed only after more urgent or serious issues are resolved. This will probably be no sooner than 2 months from now.

In this situation, all that I can do is offer our sincere apologies for the issue. I hope that it will not be a huge inconvenience to you."

Looks like they're aware of it, though it supposedly isn't related to the Witcher Adventure Game Beta being removed. Nothing to do but wait.

Thanks for the info Green_Shade! I still think it's pretty likely that it's connected to removing the Witcher Adventure Game. The issue appeared exactly on that day and that was the only change in my library, as long as GOG didn't change anything else in the background then.

Hey GOG, how about just adding the game back in our libraries ;-P

I also think it has something to do with the removal of the Witcher Adventure Game beta, because that's when it hit me too. Also of note is that I did not have any DLC in my account when I was hit by the bug. I just bought a game with DLC during the sale today, but I've had the problem prior to this. So, I'm not so sure they are correct about the assumption it only happens to accounts with DLC.

It does appear to be similar symptoms to a different problem. I think they just expect that it's related. It's a common type of error with response to repairs of anything.
