devilhood: The music will not work with KeeperFX unless you're using the original Dungeon Keeper 1 CD.

Gydion: Is this because KeeperFX is expecting CD audio, i.e. music CD, tracks?
I have just updated my guide with instructions on how to get the music working correctly on KeeperFX.

I've tried that method before and DAEMON Tools keeps saying "unable to mount" image everytime i try to mount the .cue file

Either way, i ended up downloading another .cue file that contains all the original files from DK and got it to work that way so thanks for the trouble.

I'm going to install DAEMON Tools Lite now to see why this is happening.

EDIT: I just was able to mount the CUE sheet first time (see attached screenshot). I have no idea why you were having problems. Did you remember to edit the file paths correctly? Anyways, I'm glad you were able to sort it out a different way.

You have to mount .cue file only from DKGold directory otherwise you'll see "unable to mount".

jsharbour: You can skip the KeeperFX install and just copy the files manually (data, ldata, levels, and sound) from the GOG installed directory into your KeeperFX directory, then run the KeeperFX launcher.exe and it detects the files.
Thank you! Sheesh, why didn't someone just say that in the beginning instead of having to jump through all these hoops with the CD? I actually burned a CD so that I wouldn't have to mount it and it still wouldn't take the files off the disc.

Because the GOG download has changed between now and when the people wrote down all those hoops.
