Hi,

I also have problems with the downloader. It's online but it's stuck on connecting. I just use a windows7 firewall and Ad-Aware anti-virus. I also lowered a sliding bar in the usersaccount according with the supportinstructions but to no avail. I live in Belgium if thst's helpfull to you.

When I try to download (Still Life) manually it says corrupted file.

I find this a bit annoying.

Could someone help me out? Thanks.
Thank goodness I finally found this thread! Been raging due to the "connecting..." issue. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling both the downloader client AND Adobe AIR multiple times. Restarted my computer about five times. I come home from work dead tired but excited about Dragon Commander so wanted to download it asap. Now I've resigned myself to doing it the old fashioned and much slower way of browser downloading :( At least now I know it's not a problem on my part but a bug with the downloader/patch itself.

The Downloader does not require Adobe AIR. Our web team is working on resolving the issues as it has nothing to do with the Downloader itself.
Just confirming that the manual download works <3 EDIT : As in the game is fully playable!!!

hope this doesnt happen when witcher 3 comes out because ill be getting it off you guys!

Well I can confirm that manual installing doesnt work. If you can -through some kind of miracle-get your browser to download part 8 and the dlc at all, the files will be corrupt, wether you pause the downloads or not.

Me as a user can confirm this as I'm unable to login to the page were you change your password.

We're still investigating Downloader connectivity issues. If you're having trouble logging in, could please confirm that you are able to open this page: http://api.gog.com/status

Works for me.

I've never ordered a new game from GOG before, and I can't say i'll be doing it again. Had I gotten Dragon Commander elsewhere, i'd be playing by now. As it stands, the manual downloads don't install properly, and the downloader still doesn't work after trying everything recommended in this thread.

I can open your link:
gog.com downloader api status: ok

But the GOG.com Downloader ist not working since yesterday. Whenever I start it I have to enter my login data and then it stays at "connecting...".
