IMPORTANT: Please read before posting This topic has been provided to discuss the latest releases of our Downloader (for both Mac and Windows systems) and to submit bug reports. The stable releases (recommended for most users) can be found at this address:http://www.gog.com/downloader.

Latest version:

Mac OS X - 1.2 (build 512)
Windows - 3.6.0

Both Downloaders now have the option of sending Error Reports directly to us (this can be found in app under Settings).

I'm having the same problem as arceluigi7, except I'm trying to download Assassin's Creed Directors Cut. Suddenly the downloader stops downloading files and just freezes. I can't pause and resume or do anything else because windows says the program has stopped working and I have to kill it.

Downloader version: 3.0.51b
OS version: Windows 7 x64
OS language: english (US)

There are a lot of "Operation timed out" exceptions in the log!

When did this occur? We'll look into it. There were some API problems on our side during the weekend. Also as suggested in a previous post, please re-download and re-install the Downloader. We made some changes there, thank you.

BTW I'm using 3.0.51.0(stable) version
Open Explorer window and change the path manually in the path bar at the top. The reason is that the folder may be hidden.

Ok, first of all download the latest build and install it (close the Downloader if it is running): http://static.gog.com/download/d3/stable/Setup_Downloader_3.0.51b.exe

Second, please tell me what your Windows version? XP, Vista or 7?

Just want to chip in. GOG downloader isn't working with new Opera 12. Need to manually put the extension, which is something i don't know how to do it.

I get a error occurred when trying to download the new free games. Attatched is the MOST RECENT part of my log file (download works still if I don't click OK) but never finishes certain stuff

Yes, we are aware of this issue, we are working on a fix.

Ok, if you have re-installed the Downloader from the link provided, try pasting this into the Explorer's path bar %localappdata% and hit Enter. If the GOG.com folder still cannot be found, please create it manually or run the Downloader as admin.

And check if installing the latest build resolved your problem anyway.
