ulthuan: Could anyone please make covers for Ghost Recon and Rainbow Six?

I've added Tom Clancy's Pack cover to the list.

korell: Being as many of the games on GOG.com are much smaller than the storage capacity of a DVD, has anyone considered covers for compilations?

Considering that there are many possible compilations of GOG games, the covers would have to be either a) generic (some sort of universal 'GOG Compilation' cover, or b) made at specific request.
Of course, that's only my opinion.

Well, yes, of course you could put together any combination of games from GOGs catalogue, but I was thinking more specifically those on a theme. For example, the Fallout games on one DVD, and the four Unreal games on another. You could also bundle the two Stronghold games together, and the three Earth games, or the two Nation games, the two Tom Clancy games.
So really, I suppose I could have made it a bit more clear, but I was thinking along the lines of related games, those within the same series, as opposed to any combination.

Beluga: Well now.
Is there anyone, who really got up and printed those?
I say - they are beautiful. But. I really don't have any free space in my room. And let's say, that I also do not have a good paper to do it. I just don't want to look at my shelf and say: "Jesus, this sux."
'Cause it will not be the problem of those covers, but my printer.
So, can I get some photo of your printed covers? How does it look like?

MaverickRazor: Here's one for Prince of Persia.

No offence, but this sux. Look at this pic and its quality.

It depends on how you are going to keep your GOG games. If you are putting them onto DVD then it's probably worth keeping them safe in cases. But if you want to save space then keep the setup files on your hard drive. You could always back them up onto an external hard drive if you have one, or have the GOG account as your backup.
As for print quality, the best results are obtained using high quality (and expensive) paper. But it's not absolutely necessary. Plus, if they are stored on a shelf then it's only the spines of the cases that are really visible for everyone to see.

it is hard to find hq box images for the games some of the games here may have never had box art the first blake stone game was not retail packaged so the manual art is the cover image. remember this is an fan project we are not pros. if gog.com can they might make pdf covers for the games but it is not feasible right now.

Check the list.
There are two different covers among retail versions of BG&E, so I just picked one of them.
hey guys, just dropped by to tell you are doing a great job. i really like the art and the gog-ish style of the template. the covers look really great and it is a truly neat idea.
also, it seems that the Freepsace link is broken, could you please fix it? i really love that game and i'd like to print the cover :)

Unfortunately I don't have Red's original cover saved so I cannot fix that link.
I've added another version of Freespace covers to the list as we've no idea when / if Red will be back :)

BlueToxic: Thiev, What font(s), color settings and size are you using for your covers?

It's mostly Lucida Sans Unicode, black with different opacity values; spine titles use gradient overlay & slight outer glow.
I can send you .psd file of one of the covers, which would be simpler than listing all settings here ;)
