The Witcher Adventure Game uses a launcher for the purposes of auto-updating the game and testing some of the features that will be available in the Galaxy Client. Please read the points below before posting any feedback regarding the launcher. Thank you!

1. Always start (or restart) the Launcher before playing the game. Let the update process finish (wait until status text changes to UP TO DATE), before clicking PLAY button.

2. If the application crashes or you encounter any problem or error, please go to http://mantis.gog.com, log in with your GOG.com account as usual and create an issue for us there. Please attach any information that will help us resolve the issue faster, such as logs (location where to find them is below), detailed reproduction steps, screenshots, etc.

Logs location:
On Windows Vista or later: C:\ProgramData\GalaxyClient\Logs
On Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\GalaxyClient\Logs
On MacOSX: /Users/Shared/Galaxy/Logs

3. If you encounter any other problem with the application, please post a detailed description, and if possible - method of reproducing it.

The new "Overlay" feature causes quite severe slowdown and frequent crashes during the Witcher 3 and it's current expansion. After disabling the overlay gameplay went back to normal and the crashes stopped. Is there a need for any logs or some such or are you guys at CD Project Red aware of these issues?
Love the client but styling on the window (Like Steam or Battle.net) would make it look better. The ability to add non-GOG games would also be quite nice
I would like a quick start button for games I recently played, when I right-click on the GOG-Tray symbol. Like Steam has. Now I always have to open the Client, navigate to the game, start it, and close the Client again. Too much unnecessary steps.
/e: NVM wrong forum. Sorry!

I would like an opt out option. Honestly When I turn on my PC for the first time in years just to play a disc purchased game I have no desire to update the fricking game. I bought the disc to avoid that crap.

gog and steam are a hindrance. Truthfully if I had realized that I woiuld have to install either of the bloated pos software years ago I would have never played games on PC.

I give a crap less about updates. More importantly if there are updates. I purchased my disc version. I should get to choose whether to install the bloatware and updates.

There needs to be opt out options. Install a self contained version of any game we own.

In all sincerity to all game purchase and blah blah install crap software like this. Huge middle finger.
