A true RPG design achievement!

Divinity: Original Sin, the epic-scaled RPG from Larian Studios, very modern but also true to the best traditions of computer role playing games design with its isometric view, story-driven gameplay, and top-notch turn-based combat mechanics, is available for Windows and Mac OS X, DRM-Free on GOG.com! You can also enrich your experience with the Source Hunter DLC, that comes with two unique in-game items, a digital artbook, design documents and a full original soundtrack.

Divinity: Original Sin is the old-school role-playing title you've been dreaming about. If you were ever imagining how the legendary classics like Baldur's Gate would look and feel like, were they developed today, this is your answer! Larian Studios managed to make good on all of their promises of classic gameplay, extensive world, gripping storyline, and flexible system paired with high production value of contemporary double-A titles. With up to a hundred hours of playtime needed to beat the game with all of its branching stories and tons of optional quests the game can prove to be everything you want it to be, and more! It also takes what's best after the modern games: rich and vivid 3D graphics, an extensive item crafting system, and a finely balanced multi-player mode. A perfect mix of classic and new RPG design, if we ever saw one.

Set out to explore the fantastic colorful realm created by Larian Studios, and make a new home for yourself in the vibrant world of Divinity: Original Sin (or even grab some extra Source Hunter DLC gear), on GOG.com. The price of the game varies from region to region, but don't be alarmed! Following the GOG.com tradition we're offering a Fair Price Package with this title, so everyone who is adversely affected by the pricing plan will be compensated with gift-codes (you will find yours in your order confirmation email).

NOTE:
The version of the game offered here comes with the full single-player campaign, but currently supports only LAN/DirectIP multiplayer modes, with on-line multiplayer features coming as a later update, powered by GOG Galaxy, our DRM-Free online gaming platform. Thank you for your patience!

HypersomniacLive: OK, do you seriously want to sleep? Then you need to not only log out, but shut down that system of yours, unplug it, hide it in the closet and have one of your gorgeous cats to guard it. ;-)
Given it is 10am and the sun is well and truly out, the chances of that are...unlikely! MunkiSiren stayed up all night too(we've been night owls of late) so that makes it even trickier with someone to chat to in person as well as online :)

Our gorgeous cats are being arseholes to each other. Leviathan attacked Angel, Behemoth attacked Leviathan and Coca is being her usual grumpy self to all others. I just took them outside for a walk, so hopefully they calm down a bit.

IAmSinistar: Sorry, I was being terribly oblique. Der Tötenbus is my pet name for that theoretical bus that could kill any of us tomorrow.
avatar
Coelocanth: This makes me think of my university days. A buddy and I came up with something similar that we referred to when we meant something that would never happen: the bus load of nymphomaniacs.

Thinking about it a bit now though, I figure if that bus load of nymphomaniacs did show up, it would likely turn out to be Der Tötenbus after all... :P
They drove past me on my 383km walk and offered me a ride and I refused (this was back in 2004). It was the most challenging refusal of the 8 rides I was offered along the way, because 1/ I swore to myself to walk the entire distance 2/ they were young, pretty and being flirtatious and 3/ I only had 30km to go. They had passed me 3 times on the road that day and started the conversation with "If you're not a serial killer..." which is the most obvious pick-up line I've heard!

Coelocanth: I haven't followed all your posts in this thread, but is that what the price is showing in the UK (I assume it' 9.99 pounds?) Holy crap, I can see why you're pissed. Hell, I think 10 bucks US is overpriced for the DLC.
edited my earlier reply to you, in case you missed the edit -right now it looks like €9.99 is $13.60, £6.99 is $12, and I can't be sure which number I actually saw earlier or if the £ price changed

IAmSinistar: Ha ha! You never know, it could also be the bus that carries contestants to the AVN awards ceremony. ;)
avatar
HypersomniacLive: Is this the same as another you posted where there was a "Get a room" tab? ;-)
Probably. I stopped going to the awards after I got my Lifetime Achievement trophy. ;)

HypersomniacLive: Em, can't say I follow - what's that even supposed to mean?
I don't understand what the specific problems are, all I know for sure is I told support about website problems iirc checkout going to a blank page, timers not working during Insomnia etc. Told them which OS and browser I use, they just say the GOG website isn't designed to support Linux and to try clearing cache. Not much use.

I know on other websites Firefox on Linux can break functionality simply because the default font size is different than the Windows version. It seems completely retarded that such things can happen. Sometimes manually adjusting the font in prefernces can fix the issue, other times not. I couldn't even guess why GOG has issues with certain browsers, but I see glitches when using Firefox, Chrome (both on Mint) and webOS browser here.
So glad to see this finally up on gog for everyone else too!
This will likely be the game of the decade for me, sorry witcher 3 while awesome I don't think I will still play you that many years later.
I give up. The site finally took my code from the Larian Vault but it is only the base game. No source hunter items and the most important thing, no soundtrack. I waited a week to make sure things got ironed out and that didn't help at all... I had trouble with the Dragon Commander code, so I guess I should have expected it on this code too.
As soon as I get paid this will be bought. Will also be grabbing the dlc as
Three hours in and very happy! I slapped down my hard earned cash for this without a second through but Bioware (a company I have supported for years) will need to wait at least another year before I purchase their games again… go figure?
I must play other chapter of the saga yet :S
*finished downloading* oh the joys of having to share an internet connection LOL

So, if I buy the game and the DLC from Germany - I receive three gift codes (5,99; 9,99; 9,99), right? Is it possible to combine these codes for a higher priced game like NWN2?

So I picked this up here on GOG last night (given it's the same as Steam for one copy) and had some fun with my missus in LAN Co-Op ...

We only played for the duration of the football game but it was really fun - looking forward to carrying on our game :)

Edit: And seeing as I preordered TW3 a few weeks ago I now have six(!) $5.99 game codes ... this is getting silly ...

Maybe try an account refresh?

https://secure.gog.com/account/refresh

Sometimes that helps.
Not sure if it was mentioned here so just ignore me if it was....

You can buy Original Sin first, get your 9.99 fair price code ( if you are supposed to get it ) and use that code to get Source Hunter DLC. So if you want to save some money and want to get both of them.... this is the way.
