If it's only the lack of a template that stopping someone from continuing this, it shouldn't be any harder than grabbing the blank DVD template from http://www.thecoverproject.net/ , using the graphics that GOG provides in their fansite kit materials, and taking the time to complete covers of one's own.

Hello all, I've been a faneditor for a few years now, so I have made quite a few DVD covers in my time. I plan to make GOG.com covers from now, possibly for some games that already have covers in the first post, but they'll hopefully work as alternatives for them :) I'll start working on the first tomorrow, it'll probably be for Giants or Fallout 2.
