Wow, thank you. :D
Requesting a cover for Freespace 2!
These are absolutely fantastic, top marks!
Hi, awesome work
Ho about a Gorky 17 cover?
:) nice
what about Earth 2150 Trilogy :D
Hello, thank you for your excellent work. I downloaded and printed both of MDKs and the Oddworlds.
The Duke Nukem 3D Atomic Edition and Duke Nukem Manhattan Project would be appreciated too :-) I just could not resist and I had to take them.
Glad this topic has been revived.
Anyway where's Red? Is he really gone from the community? I hope he didn't turn traitor by playing new games instead of Good Old Games :P

Shit. that's what I've done.
I've made a template based on these unofficial covers so everybody can make their own covers.
Here it is:
TEMPLATE

Thank you!
Working from this template, I made a cover for EWJ (attached)... it's a bit amateurish, since I don't know GIMP very well, but I guess it works. (edit: see improved version below)

That's actually quite good -- would change the font though, personally. Cover is not the one here, as well, but it's all preference I guess. :)

Unfortunately, it was the only decent cover I could find (I could try messing with the GOG wallpaper to get the logo on there, but I'm not that talented).
Also, every font I tried in GIMP looked like crap at such a small size... if anyone knows what to do about that, I'd like to know.
Here's one for Rise of the Triad... I think it came out a little better than the last one. I'd like to get ahold of a higher-resolution cover image, though, it's a little blurry. (edit: see improved version below)
You may notice I didn't bother with the system requirements or patch line, and I took the blurb from the manual rather than GOG's game card. This is just my preference (though I might go ahead and put the patch version on there for reference after all).
If it's helpful to anyone, here's the GIMP template I put together based on Chaosprower's blank image. Maybe it will save someone some time, or maybe somebody who's better at this than I am can use it to create a better template. (edit: see improved version below)
I didn't know how to make vertical editable text for the spine, since rotating a text field seems to turn it into a generic object, but there are guidelines there that will snap it into place.
((I guess adding a post right after your old one automatically appends it to the previous post. I wonder what the time cutoff is for that.))

They work for me. Are you getting a 404 error, or what?

It's not a picture storage like imageshack. You'll have to click Download This File.

You can make vertical text by rotating the picture 90º (With GIMP: Picture>Transform>Rotate 90º) like I do in this EXAMPLE.
